One of HeartCert’s Instructors recently had a unique situation arise during one of her CPR classes where someone in the building went into cardiac arrest and both the instructor and her students had to jump in and do real CPR. Their response time was roughly 30 seconds, giving the victim valuable ventilations and compressions to pump the oxygenated blood to his vital organs. First Responders arrived shortly after the class initiated CPR and rushed him to the hospital. Amazingly, all of the rescuers who were involved continued on with their CPR course. They were elated to get an update that afternoon that the man had survived and was conscious at the hospital thanks to their quick actions!

This is a perfect example of why everyone needs to know the life-saving skills of CPR. You can never predict when or where an emergency will strike. In cardiac arrest seconds matter, get certified so you can make a difference like this group. Visit HeartCertCPR to get started.
